Yoga for Healthy Aging, 1:00-2:15 PM

A safe and age-appropriate yoga practice can improve strength, flexibility, balance, and stress management at any stage of life. This class will offer a practice to students in the third yogic stage of life, also called Vanaprastha or “Retired”. "Yoga for Healthy Aging" will provide students with a mindful and spiritual practice focusing on poses, breath work, meditation, and yoga philosophy.

WORKSHOPS

North Shore Yoga Bannockburn, Restorative Yoga

One Sunday a month, 2-4 PM

November 24- Amy Hepburn will be leading this class

December 15

Join Amy Hepburn and me for an afternoon of Restorative Yoga. This practice will be made up of a series of simple movements to warm up the body, followed by relaxing poses which will be held for an extended period of time (with props) , and ending with a final relaxation pose to complete the practice. Because we live in a fast-paced world, restorative yoga poses are a necessary part of our practice to help us restore physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  Sign up HERE
